We are excited to announce the release of Glencoe Software's Bio-Formats 6.13.0-585, which includes everything in open source Bio-Formats 6.13.0 from the Open Microscopy Environment.
See the open source Bio-Formats 6.13.0 release notes from OME here.
Highlights
In addition to the above, highlights of Glencoe Software’s Bio-Formats 6.13.0-585 include:
- Removal of direct support for the MRXS file format. Instead, we support this format via conversion to OME-NGFF or OME-TIFF. The removal of support includes the removal of mapdb/ehcache dependencies.
- A fix for channel indexing in CV8000 data, where defined channels were inactive and therefore not acquired. These fixes have been proposed to open source Bio-Formats here and here to be included in a future release.
- Removal of support for the Woolz format. This change has been proposed to open source Bio-Formats here to be included in a future release.
- A fix for the special case where metadata images (slide label and overview) have been sanitized from SVS files, leaving a single pyramidal image.
