We are excited to announce the release of Glencoe Software's Bio-Formats 7.1.0, which includes everything in open source Bio-Formats 7.1.0 from the Open Microscopy Environment.

Highlights
In addition, highlights of Glencoe Software’s Bio-Formats 7.1.0 include:
- Fixed an issue with pyramid size calculation in CZI files, noted in AiryScan data specifically.
- Fixed an issue with reading plate layout metadata in CZI files, in which the acquisition direction was assumed to be left-to-right across the plate.
- Fixed an issue with image naming in CZI files, which should now match scene names.
- Fixed an issue with identification of metadata images in SVS files, and in particular ignores by default any thumbnail images in this format
- Fixed an issue with channel order and missing pixel block fixes from OIR files.
