We are excited to announce the release of Glencoe Software's Bio-Formats 7.3.1, which includes new readers and everything in open source Bio-Formats 7.3.1 from the Open Microscopy Environment.

New Bio-Formats readers
- A new reader for the Incucyte data archive format has been added to Bio-Formats.
- Bio-Formats now includes initial support for reading plates directly from Revvity’s Opera Phenix Database (v5). Read more about similar HCS database support here.
Other Highlights
- Cell Voyager CV7000/8000 reader now correctly handles TIFF files stored in subdirectories.
- Fixed an issue which caused the BioTek reader to produce unnecessary errors when reading data in a variety of other formats.
- A new objective ID with associated metadata is supported within RCPNL files. This objective metadata is therefore accurately parsed via Bio-Formats.
- An issue affecting offset calculations for LIF files with multiple unstitched tiles has been corrected.
With these updates, Bio-Formats continues to evolve, offering researchers the tools needed to work with an ever-growing range of imaging data. Should you encounter any issues, our team remains ready to assist via support@glencoesoftware.com.
